Which oven, gas or electrical, is cleaner?
It depends mostly on:
the renewability of the source used for electricity generation (must be renewable)
the electricity source emissions (must be zero-emissions)
the emission generated through each oven's life cycle
the energy efficiency (both from the energy source as well the ovens)
Which household appliance requires more electrical energy during the use phase?
All the appliances that require more power consumption, that is appliances whose useful energy is heat (eg. electric stove, clothes dryer, coffee maker, dishwasher, fryer, air heaters, water heater, hair blow dryer, oil radiators, electric boiler, air conditioner) and other appliances such as bricolage electric tools and car chargers
How can I save energy at home?

Don't leave appliances in stand by
Choose LED bulbs
Use a thermostat to control the air temperature
Don´t leave doors and windows open when you are eating your house

When you cook on your oven, opt for eco programs, such as cook with vapor or with air circulation, over conventional programs
Turn off the appliances you are not using
How can I calculate the carbon footprint of my energy consumption?
Go to your monthly electricity bill and look for the corresponding emissions to your electricity consumption. Normally it appears in kg CO2eq.
Otherwise, multiply your energy consumption (in kWh) by the weighted average carbon footprint of your energy source (kg CO2eq released to produce 1 kWh (kg CO2eq/kWh)) to find your carbon footprint.
The cleaner the energy source, the less GHG you emit, and the lower will be your carbon footprint.
That´s why many households have been changing electrical companies by home solar electric systems
